Rosemary has owned German Shepherds since the 1960's. The first litter she bred was back in 1973, which you can see in the photograph to the right. She didn't actually obtain the Bridgeview Affix until the early 1990's, but German Shepherds have always been a big part of her life and she wouldn't be without them.
In 2004 I joined Rosemary as a joint affix owner. I have known Rosemary for several years now after purchasing a GSD pup from her in 1995. She has been my friend and mentor, passing on all her knowledge to enable me to continue to breed dogs to her high standard. I own dogs that have the original Bridgeview bloodlines in them that have given us such a good name over the years.
My love for German Shepherds began as a child around the age of 7 years. I visited a home of a family friend who owned two GSD's. One of them was an absolutely stunning long coated dog named Karlo. I was in absolute awe of him. He was getting on in years but he had such a noble look about him. In later years I discovered that Rosemary had actually bred this dog herself. He would have been one of the puppies in the picture above. I now think somehow it was destiny that I have ended up being involved with these beautiful dogs.
I myself have owned German Shepherds since 1992 when I bought my first one at the age of nineteen. My German Shepherds have been a big part of my family since then and with the arrival of all three of my children over the past thirteen years the dogs have remained a big part of our family unit.
Our aim here at Bridgeview is to breed happy, healthy dogs as companions. Many of our dogs go to family homes and we always ask that their new owners keep us updated.
We are pleased that many of our dog owners return to us again and again and have given us many reccomendations to other people over the years.
All our dogs are fed on a RAW diet. We have found that this is by far the healthiest and most natural way to feed them.

Many of our puppy owners have now converted their dogs over to RAW feeding with great success.
We are now moving back to having more Germanic lines within our breeding. We hope the combination of these new lines and our old established ones, which are now on the 7th generation, should produce puppies true to the Bridgeview name and reputation.
We have no plans to breed anymore white litters ourselves.

The original kennels were at Dundry in Bristol. Rosemary spent many happy years here but in 2003 she relocated to North Somerset where she continues to produce pups true to the Bridgeview name.
