Delilah 1st August 2010

I'd recommend Bridgeview to anyone who is after a well balanced German Shepherd Dog with a fantastic temperament and who is bred to the highest of standards.
I'd been looking for a Delilah as a companion for my German Shepherd Samson for some time and couldn't be happier with my little lady, she is a healthy, happy and an extremely beautiful animal.

Thank you Becky for all your continued help, advice and most of all for bringing Delilah into our lives.

Ben

I can honestly say I cant walk Ben in Jersey without being stopped everytime time by someone to tell me how gorgeous he is. He is not only a stunning looking dog but also a big softie and so loyal. As you know I would have loved to have got a bitch from you too. I would recommend you 100%. I even think Millies week with you guys has contributed to a really lovely natured pup.

Enzo is our pride and joy and we are always stopped when out on walks saying how good looking he is and I do agree lol. He is wonderful with my kids and all their friends. His temperament is fantastic, its lovely having a dog you don't have to worry how he will react when friends call and if Wayne would let me I would have more. He is a dream to have and I would always recommend you to my friends looking for a gsd.

We chose Bridgeview after knowing a couple of people who had their dogs, and having had GSD’s for many years I knew the temperament and breeding to be excellent.

We got Bear in early 2006, he was a tiny little bundle of very dark fur and so adorable. We arrived at Becky’s at 2pm one afternoon and were greeted by Bear’s mother a beautiful GSD she didn’t bark she just greeted us then laid back down I was instantly impressed. I bent down to fuss her and she was so friendly even though she had just recently had her pups taken (Bear was the last one). I’ll never forget that whilst I was fussing her a huge white male who had let himself in the back door suddenly licked me right up my face! He was a big soft friendly dog even though he took me aback a bit I had no idea he was there. He’d just come in for his share of the attention. Again this just confirmed that we had chosen the right breeder.

Bear was bundle of fluff sat on the floor by Becky’s boys. Again that impressed me if he was used to young kids (and reared in the family home not outside like some dogs) he was going to have a fabulous temperament.

We chatted for a while then after the formalities we took Bear and made our way home. He was so laid back he slept nearly all the way home.

When we got home our older GSD Zeus was ready to greet him. I went in first to fuss him then Steve followed with Bear. Typical GSD Zeus took it all in his stride this young upstart taking over his bed (bear instantly decided to try it out for size) his water and his home. He took a bit of grief from the cat but that was just her showing him she was boss and he never gave her any trouble.

Bear settled in really quickly taking everything in his stride. He quickly grew into a solid large boned boy who was great with everyone and everything.

Two and a half years ago my daughter had her son and at a couple of days old she brought him round in his car seat to introduce them. Bear didn’t need telling to keep back he could smell and see him from a couple of feet away and just gave him the distance and respect instantly. Gradually we let him come nearer and he was so loving and gentle we knew he was going to guard this baby no matter what.

They are now firm friends Bear is the dental patient, the big furry pillow whatever Taylor wants him to be. They play chase around the house and garden and are inseparable.

He submits to Taylor without question or prompting. He’s fed in the kitchen and if he is eating and Taylor comes in he instantly backs off and sits, he has never been told to he just does. He waits until he is told he can continue. Taylor likes to mimic the dog and will get down on his knees with him to try to share his drink. Bear just submits even though we tell Taylor off Bear is amazingly gentle.

I would have another of Becky’s dogs in a heartbeat they are such great big gentle giants. Although I’d never leave a child alone with a dog (because of what kids can do not for fear of what the dog would do) I know I can trust Bear with him totally.

He loves all visitors and greets everyone with a toy, he has converted quite a few people from being afraid of dogs to loving him. When we get visitors he goes out to shepherd them in. People always think he’s trying to run off but he just wants to get them safely in to play.

We take him everywhere we changed our car to a big 4wd for the 2 of them (although we lost Zeus when Bear was about 18 months old) and Bear loves going everywhere, we take him caravanning and he loves it. He had just the right balance of companion and protector. Although due to his size he never really has to do any protecting he just has to be there. Although, he is a bit more protective of Taylor if we are out. I regard that as a good thing in this day and age.

We always get people admiring him I have often been asked where we got him and always give them the website details we are proud of our boy and want others to have the chance of a great dog too.

I cannot recommend the Bridgeview breed enough they are everything you want in a dog.

I bought Connie from Bridgeview as I wanted a dog with a temperament I could trust and she certainly has that, she is really gentle and loving towards people and fantastic with all other animals.

Connie is also a very pretty bitch and is constantly admired by people we meet.

Another prime consideration for buying a dog from Becky is the added assurance of the health of her dogs as Becky takes great care to research the pedigrees of her breeding dogs so that there are no inherited illnesses.

Thank you Becky for letting me have such a lovely girl.

I also had my first male shepherd from Rosemary who was a dog that had been returned to her through no fault of his own. He was a beautiful sable dog and very big. His temperament was faultless and he was such a softy everyone who met him adored him. He certainly won my heart. He is brilliant with other dogs and very patient with puppies. I would certainly recommend Rosemary’s dogs to anyone.

Having owned two previous German Shepherds I wanted to be sure that I was going to have a pup with a good temperament. Bridgeview were recommended to me by a friend as excellent breeders. So in 2000 we went to view a litter at Rosemary's in Dundry. The parents to this litter were Max and Beauty. Both beautiful dogs with excellent temperaments. We chose Simba to come and join our family that day. He has proven to be an outstanding dog with a superb temperament. Simba will be 11 years old in November 2010 and has never shown any signs of Arthritis in all these years. He has barely visited the vet apart from his boosters.

I lost my old German Shepherd in 2006 and wanted to wait until the right time to bring in another pup. This came in September 2007 when I brought Troy home from Becky's house. To this day whenever we walk past Becky's old house Troy will try and pull to get back in there. He remembers his first home without a doubt. He is without a doubt an absolute clown and he and Simba are inseperable.

If you are looking for a happy, healthy pup then I highly recommend a Bridgeview Puppy. When I am ready for another pup in the future I will go nowhere else. Both Rosemary and Becky are wonderful people who will always be there for their puppy owners.

Thank you both for allowing me to have these two beautiful boys in my life.

Nine years on and we'll still remark on how we will come back to get another from you. Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of meeting Becky as yet but im sure when the inevitable happens and we need another GSD, Bridgeview will get a telephone call, (even if that means being on a waiting list).

Seamus is a wonderful boy with many amusing traits. I trust him 100% with children and my horse. He is an excellent guard dog who has seen off 2 attempted burglaries just using his bark! He has never had to go to the vets with joint or mobility issues and is as strong as an ox!

I highly recommend Bridgeview for their attention to detail and breeding such wonderful dogs. I will never purchase a dog from anyone else.
